Mike Lata Joins CSP

Mike Lata has recently joined Communication Solutions Partners (CSP), as our Senior Account Executive. CSP is the Communication Division of Whalley Computer Associates and is a regional leader in providing communication products and services to businesses. We are thrilled that Mike Lata has the confidence in CSP’s ability to provide World Class Service to his current and future customers. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the communications industry and brings a wealth of knowledge, understanding and experience to CSP.

Mike’s most recent position was with Paetec, a national telecommunications firm where he spent two years as an Account Executive, focusing on the needs of mid to large sized companies.

His ability to reduce his customers communications costs while improving the overall performance combine with his passion for providing the highest level of customer satisfaction make him a perfect fit for the values espoused by CSP. Prior to Paetec, Mike worked with other high profile communication companies including SBC Communications, and CTC Communications. Mike’s strong background has given him the skills and ability to identify the specific needs of a company and knowledge to offer the right solutions.

Melissa Derouin Promoted to CSP Back Office Manager

Melissa Derouin, a 15 year veteran of Whalley Computer Associates has recently been promoted to manage the back-office operations of CSP.

“For the past fifteen years, Melissa has been an integral part of our success. For the past twelve years she has been my Administrative Assistant. Transferring such a critical member of the WCA team was a significant loss for the computer division and a personal sacrifice for me as well. It clearly demonstrates our total commitment to do whatever it takes to provide our CSP customers with World Class Service” said Paul Whalley, Vice President of WCA and President of CSP.

Melissa joined Whalley Computer Associates on August 15, 1994 as a Sales Associate. On July of 1996, she was promoted to Executive Assistant to Paul Whalley. Her dependability, versatility and the operational knowledge that she has gained throughout her history at WCA has prepared Melissa to be the perfect candidate to manage the back office functions of CSP.

Whalley Computer Associates will be hosting four complimentary "lunch & learn" seminars to focus on two of the IT world's most exciting and innovative topics. Virtualization and Storage have been important aspects of the industry for several years now, but recent advancements in the technology, along with cost effective solutions have brought these two key areas to the forefront.

●Samsung Mobile Tour

Whalley Computer Associates and Samsung Printing Solutions are sponsoring the Samsung Mobile Experience Tour in Springfield And Worcester, Massachusetts. This is part of a 30-city U.S. campaign that uses a customized, 40-foot RV to increase awareness of Samsung’s leadership in providing cost-effective Printing Solutions for businesses.

On Thursday April 30th, the Samsung Experience will be available in Springfield, Massachusetts at Court Square across from City Hall in Springfield from 9:30 AM to 1PM and in Worcester, Massachusetts at 390 Main St by Commerce Bank in Worcester from 2:30 until 6PM.

The technology being showcased represents some of Samsung’s most innovative and customizable products and solutions to help today’s businesses lower costs with features that include security, workflow management and job accounting. National Search Brings Microsoft Exchange Expert to WCA

WCA just finished an eight month nationwide search where our goal was to find one of the best most experienced Senior Microsoft Exchange specialists available in the United States. We are confident that we have found that person. On Monday, April 13, 2009 Peter Nunnalle was introduced to the rest of the WCA Team.

Uninterrupted access to Email has become an essential business requirement for internal efficiency and necessary to provide customer support. Most of our customers acknowledge that email access is as critical to their company’s success and survival as the dependability of their phone system. Pete Nunnallee brings over 20 years of technology experiences.

We believe that our continued success is dependent on maintaining our position as the best technology service organization in our customer’s region. Acquiring Peter’s talent is just another investment in that mission. For the last eleven years Peter has traveled all across the country leading some of the largest, most complex Microsoft Exchange projects. With his most recent project in Seattle Washington successfully completed, Peter has moved to Massachusetts to lead our Microsoft Exchange Team.
